Having said this, I’m not saying you need novel, unseen content every day. You don’t.
You need to start with a strong HOOK that gets your audience to hang around with you.
The second thing that kills your Instagram story views
Not everything is about the first page of your Instagram Stories.
Instagram wants to see that your audience wants to stay consuming your story. So it looks at the taps forward (versus the swipes out of your Instagram Story).
Yeap, the more Instagram Stories completions you get (meaning, the more people view all the pages of your story), the more it signals the content is great and the more it will show it to other people.
By the way, you can look at your Instagram Story view metrics on the Instagram Story insights. More about this later on in this blog.
Moreover, remember audience behaviour and how to stay on top of their feed. People open Instagram many times a day (to switch off and scroll).
When you upload new Instagram Stories throughout the day, your account keeps on popping up.
Now, this might not be possible for you, or feel total burnout.
So in that case, either schedule your Instagram Stories or keep them short. There is no point in uploading 20 pages at once. Your Instagram Story views will drop because your forward taps and completion rates go down.

A simple emoji sticker (they are fab for an easy one-click easy engagement at the start)
A slider with an emoji (an easy way for your audience to share their views or preferences)
Help create feelings fast *yesss!*
Gifs (they help create feelings in a fraction of a second)
Music (add to the mood you want to create with music: upbeat, chilled, epic…)
Drive easy engagement and are very powerful for insights (use from time to time):
Polls (don’t try to make it tough. Make your Qs accessible to anyone to answer.)
Quiz (add emojis in your text. Simple is always better)
Use strategically (but careful!):

Not many people will take the time to answer open questions so your engagement can drop.
So either keep the Q to something irresistible to answer or use strategically (e.g. for a Ask Me Anything story or a way to answer FAQ for your product promotion). When you do it right, this is incredible for results.

Link (think of a creative Call To Action (CTA) and add a gif to draw attention. Don’t overuse it in every page, still you can use daily)
